Public archaeology
The musealization of archaeological sites is an issue that is as complex as it is now unavoidable. Nearchos has experience in drafting archaeological park projects, performing maintenance work, and communicating quality historical contents to the public through organized field trips.
Museum layouts
Collections of archaeological materials ultimately require their contextualization in order to be appreciated and understood: explaining the objects through the relationships they had with each other and within the reference sites is the goal for the museum layouts that Nearchos is ready to create.
Virtual museums
Photogrammetric survey or laser scanning techniques (which Nearchos can perform on behalf of the client) now allow for accuracy in digital models of objects that was unthinkable until recently. This enormous information potential can be managed through OS web platforms such as 3DHOP to create virtual collections (e.g., of materials from the same site that have been dispersed or dismembered or belong to the same type, etc.) that can be publicly enjoyed on the Internet.
